Maryn Blanco is a fine artist located in St. Louis, Missouri, renowned for her vibrant oil paintings that capture the beauty of nature and femininity, and the discovery of identity. Originally from a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, she developed an early appreciation for vivid colors and the natural world. Her artistic journey began in childhood, leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Brigham Young University, which she completed in 2021.

Since relocating to St. Louis, Maryn has loved getting to know the local art community and participating in many gallery shows. Beyond her exhibitions, she is dedicated to education, offering frequent workshops at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild, as well as offering private instruction.

Maryn finds the greatest inspiration from artists of the 19th Century, especially the Belle Epoque Era, including Sargent, Zorn, Sorolla, and Mucha, as well as the Dutch Masters and Pre-Raphaelites.

Maryn is committed to creating meaningful pieces which explore themes of womanhood, sustainability, and the constant search for divinity.
